  • Chicago and C2E2 2014

I just got back from a much needed vacation to Chicago. For the third time since 2011 , I attended the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. C2E2, as it’s called, has become one of my favorite comic events to attend.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Signing

To this day, my favorite, and arguably the best, comic book / cartoon / movie / toy lines is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I still have vivid memories of being a young kid in the toy aisle of this store called Roses, seeing those first toys on the pegs.

  • July 2013 Loot Crate Unboxing

Sorry I’m a bit late on this unboxing. I had knee surgery on the 19th, and hadn’t had a chance to get to it quite yet. The theme for July is “Varsity”. That fits with the fact that it’s largely a “Video Game High School” (VGHS) themed box.

  • My Collection Obsession

Ever since I was young, I’ve had a bit of an obsession with toys. Especially action figures. Being a child of the 80’s I grew up with the like of He-Man and She-Ra, Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thundercats, Silverhawks, GI Joe, and Voltron to name but a very few.

  • Matty Collector Toy Review – September, 2011

The September release from the Masters of the Universe collection included two new figures and one re-release. We get two new figures in Leech and Hurricane Hordak, both part of the 2011 subscription.

  • The Original Ninja Turtles are Back

I am ecstatic the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in print. Kevin Eastman, one of the original creators of the turtles is back writing a new revitalized comic series for the ninja four.
