This past Friday I turned 45 years old. While, lets me honest, I’d rather have been somewhere on a lovely cruise, instead I chose to visit one of my favourite places with Dani and our friend Kristi. Amsterdam’s Artis City zoo is the oldest in the Netherlands and the fifth oldest in the world. It’s an absolutely lovely place to visit. In addition to the zoo, there’s also a couple of other museums. One of those, Micropia, we visited for the first time. It’s a museum dedicated to the tiny world of microbes.
